HPA invites you to consider us “your place for a space!”
We are focused on providing you with customer-first, customer-friendly service. HPA strives to offer the best value for parking in the City, to make our services as accessible and convenient as possible, and to provide help with resolving complaints and payments/appeals of parking citations.
The Hartford Parking Authority is responsible for the installation and maintenance of the parking meters throughout the City of Hartford. By using Parking Pay Stations (P&D) to set time limits, we increase the number of motorists who can use a single parking space during the course of a day. This increases parking opportunities for everyone and supports the growth of business in our city and neighborhoods.
Please note: In accordance with Section 22-42(b) of the Hartford Municipal Code, any parked vehicle that is identified with having three (3) or more unpaid parking citations is subject to towing. If your vehicle has been towed, please call the Office of Parking Management at 860-757-0730 for further information.
In order to retrieve your car, all outstanding parking citations must be paid in person at the Office of Parking Management. A receipt of payment and impound release form will be provided. Towing fees are due to the respective towing company.
